For the last few classes we have been looking at Google Tools/Products, such as Google Drive, Docs, Maps, Earth, etc. I will be talking about three of Google's Tools/Products. First, I will tell you about Google Drive. Google Drive is a handy tool that allows you to store your files on your computer in "the cloud" that is Google's servers. A free Google email will allow you 50GB of storage for almost every type of file that a usual user would have. You can also organize your files with the folder system in Google Drive. Second, I will talk about Google Earth/Maps. Google put these together in Google Maps, so I will just talk about them both. Maps is exactly what it's named, maps! You can explore the world with the click of a mouse! You can find directions to almost anywhere (trust me I looked at that) and you can see the world with the added in Google Earth feature. You can also choose what type of transportation you will use to travel to your destination, like a bike, car, or plane. Lastly, I will tell you about Google Docs. This is a word processing software just like Pages, or Microsoft Word. You can choose a preset for your document such as a brochure, or a blank document. Docs is integrated with Drive, so you can save your documents. But, with the Drive feature, you can reopen the document in your Drive and it automatically opens in Docs. That's it, thanks for reading!
